A photograph of a pen and ink drawing catalogued by Ruland (1876) as then in the collection of J. Malcolm. According to the Italian inscription at the bottom of the drawing, Peter Lely previously owned this sheet and at that time the drawing was ascribed to Raphael. In the inscription the attribution to Timoteo Viti is also suggested.
