An anonymous engraving - which is a reversed copy of a print by Marcantonio Raimondi - depicting a young man conversing with an old shepherd. Trimmed within the platemark.

The subject of this print was catalogued by Ruland (1876) as astrological: the old man is holding a stick and gesturing up towards a star in the sky, while the young man is leaning his left hand on a sphere resting upon a socle against which a setsquare and a compass are placed.
