An etching catalogued by Ruland (1876) as being executed in Giovanni Battista Franco's manner and imitated from a figure in the cartoon des Grimpeurs by Michelangelo. Trimmed within the platemark.

The cartoon is the so-called Cartoon of Pisa, the Battle of Cascina: the figure depicted in this etching is related to the figure on the far right in the cartoon (in reverse).
