This building was also known as "Palazzo di Raffaello", as in 1517 it was acquired by Raphael, who spent the rest of his life there. The Palazzo was in the Borgo rione (district) in Rome and since the end of the 16th century it became the main core of Palazzo dei Convertendi, which was demolished in 1938 for the opening of Via della Conciliazione.
