Photograph of two sergeants of the 8th Hussars having a drink. They stand facing each other with the man to the right pouring a drink into his companion's glass. They are both wearing military uniform and carry riding crops. There is open ground behind them and a small dog lying at their feet.
The 8th Hussars served in all of the major battles of the Crimean War including the Charge of the Light Brigade.
