Photograph of three Royal Artillery soldiers who served in the Crimean War. They are wearing military dress uniform and are gathered around a gun which is mounted on a wooden carriage. 'Sebastopol' has been added to the rim of the cannon in ink, along with highlights to some elements of the men's uniform and background.
There is a note below the photograph that this gun was captured at Sebastopol. A number of trophies were brought back from the Crimean War, including the Sebastopol Bell which now hangs in the Round Tower at Windsor Castle.
