Photograph of the rocky coastline near the St George Monastery. The photograph shows the Black Sea with the coastline curving round to the left. The St George Monastery sits at the top of the cliff, consisting of several buildings including a small chapel. The St George Monastery, near Balaklava, was used as a convalescent hospital during the Crimean War.
