Photograph of a group of soldiers of the 41st (The Welsh) Regiment of Foot gathered in front of a hut. Some are standing and others sitting with two men reclining on the ground in front of them. All are wearing military uniform and several are holding swords. There is a drum on the ground to the left with a goat beside it drinking from a bowl.
The 41st (The Welsh) Regiment of Foot served throughout the Crimean War and received battle honours at Alma, Inkerman and Sevastopol.
