Photograph of five naval officers in a camp by Sevastopol. They are gathered in front of a tent, with several more tents visible on the hillside behind. Two officers stand, with the officer to the left leaning against a wooden post. Another officer sits on a pile of stones and two sit on the ground. All are wearing naval uniform. The troops engaged in the Siege of Sevastopol camped in the countryside surrounding the town.
