Photograph of a British cemetery near Sevastopol. There are a number of graves, most with their inscriptions clearly visible. Trees and bushes grow among the graves and there is a wall behind.
Before they left the Crimea in 1856 the British created a number of cemeteries on the sites where regiments had camped during the Siege of Sevastopol.
