Photograph of Maréchal Pélissier standing facing partly right on a set of stone steps. He is wearing military uniform and a feathered bicorn hat and is holding a stick in his right hand. There is an open doorway behind him. Maréchal Pélissier commanded the French troops during the Siege of Sevastopol and was made Marshal of France shortly after. He later became the Governor General of Algeria.
