Photograph of Major-General Sir Harry David Jones standing facing right resting his left arm on a stone wall. He is wearing a peaked hat and holding a book in his right hand. There is a tree behind him to the left. This photograph, printed by Jabez Hughes in 1883, is a carbon print pasted over the original photograph.

Major-General Jones commanded the Royal Engineer forces during the Crimean War and later became the Governor of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
