Photograph of General Buller seated in a campsite facing slightly right. He is wearing military uniform and holds a sword in his left hand. This photograph, printed by Jabez Hughes in 1883, is a carbon print pasted over the original photograph.

General Buller served during the Crimean War and was severely wounded during the Battle of Inkerman.
