Photograph of Major-General Windham standing with his head turned slightly to the right. He is wearing military uniform with a sash and insignia and is holding a sword in his left hand.

Major-General Windham commanded the 4th Division during the Battle of Inkerman and led the last attack of the 2nd Division on the Redan. He was an outspoken critic of the management of the war.
