Photograph of Lord Paget mounted on a horse facing left. He is wearing military uniform and attached to his belt is a long sword. Another soldier, Colonel John Douglas, stands by the head of the horse facing right. This photograph, printed by Jabez Hughes in 1883, is a carbon print pasted over the original photograph.

Lord Paget served in the Crimean War including during the Charge of the Light Brigade.
