Photograph of General Estcourt standing facing left with his right arm resting on a stone wall. He is wearing military uniform and has a sword tied to his belt. This photograph, printed by Jabez Hughes in 1883, is a carbon print pasted over the original photograph.

General Estcourt was a chief staff officer during the Crimean War and died of cholera in the Crimea. He was a close friend of Lord Raglan, the commander of the British troops during the Crimean War.
