Photograph of Dr Marlow sitting on a metal stool facing partly left with his legs crossed. He is wearing a coat and cap and there is a sword resting between his legs. There are items of clothing and kit on the ground around him and a group of tents behind him.
Dr Marlow served as the surgeon for the 28th Regiment during the Crimean War and was present for all of the major battles.
