Photograph of Colonel Sir Thomas St Vincent Troubridge sitting in a wooden wheelchair facing left with his head turned towards the camera and his left leg crossed over his right. He is wearing military uniform and there is a bicorn hat with a feather plume on the table beside him. The photograph has been heavily hand coloured. 

Colonel Troubridge served in the Crimean War and was badly wounded at the Battle of Inkerman, eventually losing both legs.
