Hand-coloured photograph of a half length portrait of Princess Victoria, later Empress Frederick III (1840-1925) standing, facing three-quarters to the right. She gazes ahead, away from the camera. Princess Victoria wears full court dress, consisting of an ermine trim cloak, white dress, red sash, necklace, bracelets and tiara with veil attached. Photograph taken at the wedding of the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII (1841-1910) and Princess Alexandra, later Queen Alexandra (1844-1925).
