Hand-coloured photograph of a full length portrait of Princess Victoria, later Empress Frederick III (1840-1925) standing, facing three-quarters to the right. She wears full court dress, consisting of a white, floor length dress, red sash, cape with ermine trim, a long, lace train, a tiara and veil. She holds a bouquet of flowers in front of her waist with both hands. Taken at the wedding of Princess Alexandra, later Queen Alexandra (1844-1925) and the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII (1841-1910).
