Photograph of a three-quarter length double portrait of Beatrice Byng (1826-84) and Charlotte, Viscountess Canning (1817-61). The two women are seated and face towards each other. Byng rests her left hand on Canning's right shoulder and her right hand on Canning's right hand. A straw hat rests on Byng's lap.
