Hand painted photograph of a full length portrait of Princess Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg, later Queen Victoria Eugenie of Spain (1887-1969), seated on the back of a sofa. Princess Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg was the daughter of Prince Henry of Battenberg and Princess Beatrice of the United Kingdom and was born on the 24 October 1887 in Balmoral Castle. In May 1906 she married Alfonso XIII of Spain in Madrid to whom she was Queen Consort.
