Photograph of a watercolour painting depicting the confirmation of Prince Alfred at the private chapel at Windsor Castle on 5 April 1860. Prince Alfred kneels at the centre of the composition, his back facing the viewer. The Archbishop of Canterbury stands before him. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert are depicting standing on the left side of the composition.

The painting is held in the Royal Collection, RCIN 919801.
