Photograph of a full length portrait of Prince Alfred, later Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (1844-1900) standing, facing towards the camera. He turns his head three-quarters to the right and gazes ahead, away from the camera. He places his right hand on a table, positioned beside him. He wears light coloured trousers and shirt, a dark coloured jacket, tie and gloves.
