Photograph of a full length portrait of Orlando Bridgeman, Viscount Newport, later the 3rd Earl of Bradford (1819-98), standing facing a quarter to the left. He looks ahead, away from the camera. He holds an umbrella in his right hand and places his left hand in his pocket.
Bridgeman was Vice-Chamberlain in 1852, and again in 1858 to 1859, Lord Chamberlain from 1866 to 1868, Master of the Horse from 1874 to 1880, and again from 1885 to 1886.
