Photograph of a full length portrait of a male sitter, identified as 'Mr Leclercq', possibly Arthur, Charles or Pierre Leclercq. The sitter stands, facing towards the camera, and turns his head and gazes to the right. He poses with his legs apart and his hands in his pockets. He wears a harlequin or clown costume and his face is painted and hair style into three tufts. He poses in front of a painted backdrop depicting a landscape scene.
