Photograph of a half-length portrait of the artist Carl Haag (1820-1915). Haag stands with his back to the viewer and his head in right side profile. He holds a piece of card with both hands. The piece of card contains what appears to be an inverted photograph of a painting of Prince Arthur by Franz Xaver Winterhalter (1805-73) held in the Royal Collection (RCIN 405035).
