Photograph of Queen Marie of Bavaria (1825-89) seated and facing the viewer. Behind her stands Ludwig (1845-86), her eldest son and Otto (1848-1916) (right), both of whom face the viewer. A vase of flowers stands on a small table on which the Queen rests her left arm.
