Photograph of a full-length portrait of JP Knight standing, facing three-quarters to the left and looking to the front. He is depicted holding a newspaper open with both hands.

Knight was a portrait painter and was Secretary of the Royal Academy between 1848-1871. There is a portrait by him of Philip, Count of Flanders in the Royal Collection (RCIN 402016).
