Photograph of a full length double portrait of the Austrian playwright and actor Johann Nestroy (1801-62) and the Austrian opera singer and actor Alois Grois (1809-74). Grois stands on the left, facing towards the right. He places his left hand on his chest. Nestroy is seated, facing similarly towards the right. He holds a book open on his lap with both hands.
