Photograph of a full length portrait of Frances Elizabeth Jocelyn (1820-80) seated, facing three-quarters to the left. She looks down at a book she supports on her lap.  

Jocelyn was Lady of the Bedchamber between 1841 and 1867, thereafter Extra Lady of the Bedchamber. She was also a keen photographer and a selection of her works are held in the Royal Collection.
