Photograph taken on the occasion of the engagement of Princess Victoria to Prince Frederick William of Prussia. The children from left to right are: Prince Alfred (1844-1900); Princess Alice (1843-78); the Prince of Wales (1841-1910) and the Princess Royal (1840-1901). The Adults from left to right are: Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Prussia (1831-88); Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and Prince Albert (1819-61).
