Photograph of a full length portrait of Duchess Sophia in Bavaria (1845-67), when Princess Sophia of Saxony standing, her body almost profile facing right. She turns her head to look to font. She holds a book in her right hand and rests her left hand on the back of a chair. There is a mantelpiece and a clock in the background, on the right.
Princess Sophia was the sixth daughter of Johann I of Saxony. She married Duke Karl-Theodor in Bavaria in 1865; they had one child.
