Photograph of a three-quarter length portrait of Pierre, Duc de Penthievre (1845-1919), son of the Prince of Joinville, standing, facing towards the camera. He turns his head three-quarters towards the right and gazes ahead, away from the camera. He poses with his left arm behind his back and his right hand resting on a table. Elements of the photograph have been over painted with black and white ink.
