Photograph of a full length portrait of Donald Stewart (1827-1909), a forester, seated in left side profile beneath a tree. He is wearing Highland costume. A stag is laid out near his feet. The stag was shot by Prince Albert (1819-61) on 4th October 1854, on Corrie na Poitch, Balmoral.
