Photograph of a full length portrait of Sir Charles Taylor du Plat (1823-1900) standing, facing three-quarters to the left. He turns his head and looks towards the camera. He places his right hand on the back of a chair and his left hand in his pocket. 

du Plat was Equerry to Prince Albert between 1854 and 1861. He was later Extra Equerry to Queen Victoria between 1862 and 1867 and Equerry between 1868 and 1893.
