As well as being a published poet, Ambroise Anatole Augustin de Montesquiou-Fézensac was a French Brigadier General and was General Councillor of the Sarthe, a region in the Pays de la Loire region. From an album of photographs acquired by Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria.
