Purple velvet covered photograph album with metal corner mounts. An applied gilt AV cypher, European metal crown and a cypher with the motto "Treu und Fest" features on the front. The frame and cover is held together by a hinged gilt clasp featuring a VA cypher. The frame is lined in cream silk with a single gilt band. The album features a variety of photographs (RCINs 2514751-2514765) of Prince Albert.

'Treu und Fest' translated from German into England means 'Loyal and Sure'. It was Prince Albert's personal motto.
