Beneath the niche is a depiction of a scared fox, hiding from three dogs, crouching and snarling around the fox. On the right side of the grip is a depiction of an eagle killing a bird. Beneath the fox is a band depicting a hunter on horseback chasing a deer. There is a crucifix above the deer's head.
