Photograph of a painting of the Virgin Mary holding the Christ Child. Three male figures stand behind the Virgin Mary. There are two putti in the upper half of the painting, sitting on columns. An inventory number, '171' can be seen in the lower left corner.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was attributed to Jan van Eyck (c.1390-1441).
