'The School'; The Visit of the Patron and Patroness to the Village School

Photograph of the painting 'The Visit of the Patron and Patroness to the Village School' by Thomas Faed (c.1825–1900). The painting depicts two elderly people, one man and one woman, surrounded by school children. An older man, presumably the school teacher, stands beside the elderly couple.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of R Hemming. The painting is now held by Dundee Art Galleries and Museums Collection.
