Photograph of the painting 'The Young Christ as the Good Shepherd' by or after a work by Bartolomé Estebán Murillo. The painting depicts the infant Christ standing, holding a shepherd's crook. He is surrounded by three sheep and pats the head of the sheep on his right. He gazes up at the sky.
The painting was lent to the 1857 Manchester Exhibition by Lionel de Rothschild (1808-79).
