Photograph of a painting of a half-length portrait of Sir Henry Guildford (1489-1532) by Hans Holbein the Younger (c.1497-1543). The sitter poses facing three-quarters to the right and gazing ahead, away from the viewer. An inventory number can be seen in the lower left corner.
The painting was lent to the 1857 Manchester Exhibition by Queen Victoria (1819-1901). The painting (RCIN 400046) remains in the Royal Collection.
