Photograph of a painting of a half-length portrait of Sir Henry Lee by Anthonis Mor, or Antonio Moro. The sitter places his left hand on his stomach. He places his left thumb in a ring that is on a chord around his neck. A number on a piece of paper can be seen in the lower left corner.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of Charles Henry Dillon, 14th Viscount Dillon (1810-65) and the sitter was identified as Sir Francis Drake. The painting is now held by the National Portrait Gallery, London.
