Photograph of a painting of The Honourable Mrs Graham (1757-92) by Thomas Gainsborough (1727-88). The portrait depicts Graham full length, standing, leaning against a column. She faces slightly to the right and gazes to the left, away from the viewer. Graham holds a feather in her right hand. She wears a hat decorated with feathers, a brooch, pearls, and a gown with a prominent collar.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of Robert Graham (1785-1859). In 1859, Graham donated the painting to the National Galleries of Scotland.
