Photograph of a painting of the children Edward Stanley, 13th Earl of Derby, with his sister, Lady Charlotte Stanley by George Romney (1734-1802). The children are depicted full length, standing. Charlotte Stanley stands on the left and faces the viewer. She holds her hands together in front of her chest. Edward Stanley stands on the right, facing left. He turns his head to look at the viewer and holds a hat in his left hand. The children are posed in a natural landscape. Part of an inventory number can be seen in the lower left corner.
