Photograph of a painting after 'The Present' by Charles Robert Leslie (1794-1859). The painting is of a half-length portrait of a young woman leaning against a table. The table is covered with a richly decorated textile. The woman holds a miniature painting in her right hand and gazes down to look at it. The painting is photographed in its frame.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of Sir David Salomons (1797-1873).
