'Killigrew and Carew'
1857Albumen print | 17.8 x 22.6 cm (image) | RCIN 2081442
Photograph of a painting of a half length group portrait of three men.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was attributed to Sir Anthony van Dyck and was thought to depict Thomas Killigrew and Thomas Carew. A comparison to van Dyck's painting of Killigrew and Carew, held by the Royal Collection (RCIN 407426), indicates this painting does not depict Carew and Killigrew.
