Photograph of five miniatures, each individually framed and arranged in a circular shape. The miniatures are identified by a metal ribbon located beneath the frame. The portraits depict, from left to right, Catherine of Aragon, Elizabeth I, Henry VII, Thomas More and Henry VIII.

The works were lent to the 1857 Manchester Exhibition by Walter Francis Montagu Douglas Scott, 5th Duke of Buccleuch (1806-84).
