Photograph of a painting of a full length portrait of Reverend Dr Ralph Wardlaw (1779-1853) by Daniel Macnee (1806–82). The sitter is depicted seated on a chair with his legs crossed. He faces towards the viewer. He rests his left arm on a large book, positioned on a table beside the chair, and places his right hand in his lap.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was held by the congregation of Dr. Wardlaw. The painting is now held by Glasgow Museums.
